I am planning to buy Marantz NR1501. I will be using it for both music and movies – an almost 50:50 split. I am planning to have a 5.1 setup to start with. The price seems to be about $600. I have a few questions to ask. Is this a good buy? The reviews seem to be pretty decent, except for probably the missing upscale, dumped down configuration options etc. What speakers can be considered for pairing with NR1501 a 5.1 setup and if possible the approx price too? Please help.
