I’m considering buying a new receiver- pioneer bdp-s350. The speakers I have are from the Sony HTIB setup, I’ve used since college. The sub is model Sony SS-WS6, if that’s needed. The essential detail of the sub relating to my question is that it is not plugged into an outlet, but powered through the receiver. A friend who is usually more tech-savvy than me which isn’t saying much had a concern that this setup may not provide enough power to the sub. Please help.
