The modification has been conceptualized by the Rafael Wolf Conforto, who was given the concept guideline to revamp the traditional look of television sets. Based in Sao Paulo, Brazil, the product designer has created a number of interesting handiworks. Some of them are; Looking Glass Earphone, Camera digital Retro, Rodas plasma coil and also Wolf Earphones. He also specializes in industrial design, 3D modeling and package design.
An all-new design had to be hatched for one of the most commonly used electronic gadgets in our households, and one that would be easily accepted by the masses. This reinvented design definitely made the all new television curve a show stopper. All trendy materials are used to put together this new age television – plastic, glass and metal give it a riveting appeal. The device also has a classy dark black finish.
The base has plastic at the bottom with a glass sheet above it; also a strip of stainless steel has been fitted onto the base. Stainless steel is incorporated in the design. The use of white metals in appliances is becoming quite trendy, thus to give a facelift to the age-old look of television sets steel was also utilized.
