Below are a selection of headphone designs that could in no way be labeled as boring, each home to some of the most unusual design choices ever seen on a pair of cans. These headphones are not only made to offer awesome sound quality but are also trendy and stylish and are worth of keeping in stock for all those music freaks out there. Have a look!

1. Thriller headphones

Designer Johnny Lighthands made a set of headphones inspired by the music video of Michael Jackson’s ‘Thriller’. They’re fully functional and adjustable. Pressing on the cross-shaped headstone causes a hand to emerge from the grave. Pulling the zombies out of their graves allows the headphones to fit larger heads.

2. Semicircle headphones

The Semicircle headphones make it so you can listen to music without blocking out background noise. This way, you are always aware of what’s going on around you. The semicircle shape headphone is more comfortable to wear for long periods. To listen, all you have to do is plug in a transmitter into your PMP’s headphone jack and the Bluetooth receiver in the earbuds will pick up the signal. The wireless connection makes for a wire-free experience. Unfortunately, these headphones are only a concept right now, but their high level of practicality could see them through to production.

3. Solar-powered Bluetooth headphones

This Q-SOUND headphone would not only allow you to listen to music via any Bluetooth-enabled digital audio player, but also would let you take calls on any Bluetooth-enabled cell phone. If your player doesn’t support Bluetooth, there is also a 3.5mm jack to allow for a wired connection. The headband is constructed of flexible plastic incorporating amorphous silicon solar cells, while each rubber-based earpiece can be adjusted to fit differently shaped and sized heads.

4. Antler headphones

Here’s a great redneck way to listen to your favorite tunes. Preferably outdoors, where you aren’t poking holes in the wall. But if you have to sit in the woods while rocking out, be careful that some hunter doesn’t take a shot at you, otherwise you and your headphones will end up on his trophy wall looking like the lovechild of Bambi and Elton John. More likely you’ll just wear these around town at night and it will lead to reports of strange sightings of a new man-beast with antlers. And these are not for you and your buddy to headbutt each other while listening to death metal, so you can decide who the leader of your pack is.
