The cinema also has a huge screen as well as theater lighting by Lutrons’s Grafik Eye system.

2. Batcave Theater

The Batcave Theater belongs to a retired naturalist whose cellar was the perfect choice for building this amazing personal home cinema. The entire furniture in the home theater has been done by ‘Elite Home Theater Seating’, who have done a remarkable job. The installation of the screen and the audio has been done by DC Audio Video Systems. Since the theme of the theater is Batman, there are many artificial bats that are located in the room.

Randy Moran, a movie geek who was simply in love with the beauty of the Nautilus submarine from the move ’20′000 Leagues Under the Sea” and so he took the help of Dillon Works Inc., to build himself a similar-themed Nautilus home cinema! The Nautilus home cinema is complete with all the essential props and decor of the famous submarine such as the screen frames, the wall panels, portholes, tussels , bright red seating etc. This ambitious project exudes the opulence of Victorian interiors apart from its modern AMX Control system that is fully automated!

4. Star Trek Home Theaters

This Star Trek-themed personal cinema is by far a very exorbitant affair and a very high-tech one too! The cinema has motorized sliding doors, apart from a huge collection of the original props from the movies – all which cost the rich client a whopping $3,000,000! The cinema also has various sound effects as well as a Red Alert button on the controller that sets all the bright red LEDs flashing with the Star Trek trademark sounds! This is truly a spectacular sci-fi theater!

5. Titanic theater

A rich couple from Tennessee, who were completely smitten by the movie ‘Titanic’, decided to immortalize their love for the movie in the form of a personal home cinema that bears the characteristic ceiling dome in the Titanic which comprises of 1230 fiber optical light strands in order to recreate the night sky, apart from the classic bar and book case. This entire project was designed and completed by Donny Hackett from Casa Cinema Design.

The Death Star-themed home cinema is one amazing design that was designed for Lisa Stevens and Vic Wertz that comprises of a twinkling star field reconstructed by fiber optical strands, automatic doors and a thx sound system. Designed by Doug Chiang in collaboration with Dillon Works, this awesome theater has ten seats and authentic movie props.

7. Sealed Vault Home Theater

The “Vault” home cinema is an amazing design that is built behind a huge bank vault door and is done up with cherry wood furnishings, a mural and great seating. The cinema has a Sony VPL-VW100 projector and a 106″ Da-Lite screen!

8. Cyberdyne cinema

This home cinema is inspired by the Terminator series called the Cyberdyne Cinema and has been built by Darren Mortenson. The cinema hall looks like a combination of horror and sci-fi flicks both rolled into one! All the interiors of the cinema hall have been done by Mortenson himself .

9. In-house Cinema

This In-house cinema is a very garish design that has gold plated detailing, embroidered upholstery for the seats. The speaker is hidden behind fabric grilles and the entire room has been done up in crimson red and gold! The entire cinema has the latest equipment fitted apart from the air conditioning that makes it a costly project that cost the owner nearly $3.4 million!

10. Jeremy Kipnis home theater

Jeremy Kipnis, a producer, music engineer, classical music enthusiast is also the owner of an enormous home cinema that not only offers entertainment by much more! This plush cinema cost Kipnis $6 million which is quite reasonable considering the high-tech gadgets that have gone into making this amazing cinema hall! The screen stands at a 18 x 10 feet in dimension – which is huge – and is powered by a Professional Video Projector by Sony having a remarkable 4,096-by-2,160 resolution with a great sound system that adds life to this cinema!
