SANYO, a leader in clean energy systems and products will give Journalists privilege to ride its award-winning ‘Eneloop bike’ at the 2010 Consumer Electronics Show. For the event that is being held today at the Showstoppers Media Reception from 6-10 p.m. at the Wynn Las Vegas, the company has set six Eneloop bikes sitting on which journalists, bloggers and analysts will be able to take demo rides inside the Wynn in a 200- X 60-foot carpeted ballroom. In addition to the bike, an electric vehicle solar charging station will also be launched at Showstoppers CES 2010.
Sanyo’s Eneloop bikes, a carbon fiber model and a foldable bicycle takes advantage of downward deceleration, the regenerative braking system gathers sufficient charge to assist you in biking uphill. The Synergetic Hybrid Bicycle model of the Eneloop bike has received the Best of Innovations award for CES 2010, achieving the highest overall score in the ‘Eco-Design and Sustainable Technology’ category. The EV solar charging station features SANYO HIT Double bifacial photovoltaic modules, which deliver more power per square foot in comparison to its other counterparts. It uses practical size (100cm2 or more) crystalline silicon-type solar cells that can generate up to 30 percent more power than single-side solar panels.
