While hoping to put the wind potential of Norwegian coasts to the maximum use, On Office proposes to build the Turbine City off the coast of Stavanger – the oil capital of the country. Spread across a nautical locale of 31,500 m2, the mammoth project will include 49 wind turbines. A central structure, dubbed as Turbinby Stavanger, will house a hotel, spa and museum, powered entirely by the turbine itself, for avid sightseers.
A combined capacity of 392 MW will enable the Turbine City to power 120,000 homes with the renewable energy.
