World Bank Report: Health care needs $25 bln/yr aid

The group of eight countries will have to give $25 billion to $70 billion each year to developing nations to meet the health care goals. According to the World Bank report, the main aim of the Millennium Development Goal is to reduce the population rate of developing countries and provide better health care to these nations.

Health-care systems are already struggling to cope with sharply rising costs in dealing with disease such as HIV/AIDS and Bird Flu. The demographical changes cause most low- and middle-income countries to face two to three percent annual increases in health-care spending over the next twenty years. The report says further that there is a large need for the working of health care system worldwide and rich countries should come forward.
