Some UK researchers have pin pointed the fact that half of all deaths in working age men in the country are because of the hazardous drinking habits. And that doesn’t account for alcohol alone as people in Russia are also consuming other products such as aftershaves, which have alcohol as the main constituent. Most of such drinks don’t have any toxins but prove deadly due to the high alcohol factor. In Russia men have just a life expectancy of about 59 years and are likely to die three-and-a-half times more than the men in Britain.
The high consumption of alcohol basically accounts as the reason. When the family members of the deceased were interviewed regarding the drinking habits of those, astonishing facts came into light. As per the surveys, men who took drinks in high doses or who drank non-beverage alcohol had six times more the chances to die than men who did not drink at all or did not have a drinking problem. Those who drank non-beverage alcohol alone were nine times more likely to die than those who didn’t had this specific drinking habit. Men have been drinking after shaves and colognes too. The rapid economic development that had taken place in a few years have led to a number of social problems which are to be blamed for increasing number of men taking resource to drinking.
