By now, most of the efforts of US have ended in smoke to trammel the spread of sexually transmitted diseases in her territory and the nation is constantly seeing a surge of STDs and unplanned pregnancies, especially among teens and young adults.
This trend has once again compelled US authorities and NGOs to ruminate once again over the issues that should be implemented more effectively to curb the spread of STDs in US. Moreover, US will have to do something more to promote the ‘sexual literacy’.
Coming out with a sarcastic quip Joycelyn Elders said:
The vows of abstinence break far more easily than latex condoms.
