Their studies depict ways to reduce a patient’s chances of post-stroke brain damage. They have highlighted on the consumption of blood pressure pills for this very purpose.
Researchers say that the patients having suffered from a stroke should be provided blood pressure medication within twenty-four hours; it will certainly reduce brain damage in them. The experiment has been applied on rats and results have been positive.
Now that the effects of the experiment have been positive, the researchers are looking forward to using this information in order to transform emergency stroke care. It is always better to go for prevention than to opt for care. Isn’t it?
