Regular exercise may reduce the risk of heart attack and stroke

Arterial diseases lead to heart attacks and strokes. Atherosclerosis is the main reason that contains cholesterol-laden plaque build up in the arteries. The plaques become widen and make the arteries narrow and impairs blood flow.

Ruptured plaque forms blood clots, which blocks the artery completely and may lead to the heart attack or stroke.

Regular exercise helps arteries by boosting the helps blood circulation. The researchers in Italy have found that the people who did exercise regularly, their age had a smaller effect on arteries. The June issue of ‘Harvard Men’s Health Watch’ has published the detail of the report.
