The Western Australian Opposition criticized the health minister on the working of south-west crisis line. They made allegations that the south-west 24 service had left a woman, the mother of a suicidal man who tried to commit suicide. The man had flooded himself in petrol for thirty minutes.
Mr McGinty, the health minister got the answer from agency after investigation that he is unable to find the case and the name of the person. The man’s family does not want to be identified.
The opposition alleged the government by saying that the crisis call service in the south-west of Western Australia is operated from Sydney. It is not acceptable that when people need the assistance they don’t get immediate answers.
