Older women may drink coffee to reduce heart risks

Here is good news for the older women who drink three daily cups of coffee. A research has showed that older women who have taken three cups of coffee in a day habitually, were twenty-four percent less probable to die of heart disease during study. The study took fifteen year to show the results. This is published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition.

Coffee is a major nutritional source of antioxidants, which controls inflammation and heart disease. On the other hand, consumption of coffee does not show any association with cancer. Tea, fruit drink, sugar-sweetened drinks, diet beverage, and skim, low fat, and whole milk did not show the same result during study as coffee showed. At the same time, the researchers said that the study does not show that coffee consumption was exclusively accountable for the findings.
