Most US hospitals too sluggish to handle heart attack cases!

Unbelievably, most of the hospitals in US are too sluggish in handling heart attack cases. A new US study has raised the curtain from this fact.

This study included about 365 US hospitals and found that the delay in performing angioplasty varied from 55 to 120 minutes after the arrival of the patient in the emergency room. While according to Federal, recommendations there should not be delay of more than 90 minutes after the arrival of the patient in the emergency room.

This disclosure is really disgusting because this clearly shows that patient is not safe even after entering the emergency room. Don’t you think strict action should be taken against such hospitals who delay in carrying out necessary treatment, required to save the life of the patient with heart attack.
