Making Cancer Cells Self-Destruct

For years doctors have been telling you to load up on fruits and veggies as a means of attaining optimum health. But can this combination help in reversing exciting cancer?
A study conducted by the National Centre for Complimentary and Alternative Medicine, USA, published in the International Journal of Cancer, says it may: In mice and in lab-grown cells, quercetin, resveratrol, and genistein, which are polyphenol compounds found in many veggies and fruits, decreased pancreatic tumor growth, increased cancer cell destruction, and prevented cancer spread.
When quercetin, anti-oxidant that is found in apples, was fit to mice with human pancreatic cancer, it caused apoptosis, which means, literally, a cellular suicide. Genistein, a soyabean compound, prevented the spread of cancer and slowed tumor growth in mice. Resveratrol, found in red wine and grapes, caused lab-grown cancer cells to self-destruct. In this study you will found a rationale basis for the use of fruits and veggies as suggested diet to lower the risk of cancer.
