Hepatitis C may lead people to suffer from sexual dysfunction. The age and depression level does not matter if people with hepatitis C also having sexual activities.
Dr. Edmund J. Bini and colleague have conducted a study which disclosed that fifty-four percent of the HCV-infected men had confirmed about not having sexual satisfaction in comparison with twenty-nine percent of the controlled the HCV.
The American Journal of Gastroenterology has published the detail of the report. Hepatitis C infected people reported poorer health-related quality of life during the study.
The researchers have said that irregularities in hormone regulation cause the low testosterone levels that may cause the sexual dysfunction in men with hepatitis C.
