Heart diseases may cause early menopause

Cardiovascular disease can cause early menopause. Women without this disease do not face the problem of earlier menopause. The Framingham Heart Study has given the report following an analysis of some data collected earlier.

Researchers from Utrecht University, Netherlands, have concluded a research on the records of 695 women, suffered from pre-menopausal syndrom, and women with natural menopause. The study came to the conclusion that heart disease, high blood pressure and gained or lost weight in women at younger age, has lead to a significantly earlier menopause.

The data reveals that cardiovascular risk factors can be decide at the starting of menopause. At the same time early menopause, with reduced estrogen levels, raises the risk of cardiovascular disease as well.
