Healthcare System in Czech Republic

Health services, including all medical and dental treatments, are provided free to the citizens of the Czech Republic. It is being offered through compulsory contribution to a state insurance company known as General Health Insurance Company. Healthcare costs here lesser here than its European counterparts, yet still remain to maintain high standards of care similar to other regions surrounding Czech Republic.

The context of healthcare in Czech Republic has changed rapidly since their independence. The first robot-assisted surgery was performed here. It was the first country to use the Ampli Chip device, which determines whether a drug is suitable for a patient or not. It was the first place to do a three-organ transplant from a single donor. 

The country boasts of several surgeons and physicians with vast experience and training catering to foreign patients. The facilities, both public and private, operate at a high level. It has implemented an international standard to keep up with the established medical tourism regions of the continent.
