Be Aware!!
This miraculous herb contains caffeine, although the amount is far less than black tea or coffee. However overdose of caffeine can cause insomnia, dizziness, stomach disorders or sometimes irritability. It is advisable to limit the intake of caffeine during pregnancy. Also people who are allergic to caffeine or tannin in tea should avoid drinking tea. Sometimes caffeine ingestion may cause hives or rashes on skin.

How is green tea manufactured!

The leaves of botanical plant Camellia Sinesis are used to produce tea. All over the world Black tea is most consumable type of tea, which contain a large amount of caffeine than the other types, as the leaves go through a lot more oxidation. In black tea the leaves are crushed and baked for a much longer period of time than in green tea. Black tea surely beneficial and has said to have good medicinal benefits, but more and more people are now moving towards green tea.

During the process of manufacturing green tea, the leaves go through least oxidation. The leaves are steamed and unfermented this keeps the essential ingredients of green tea intact and helps combat against a lot of illness. As it contains a very low amount of caffeine in comparison to  black tea it provides a lot of health benefits. That is why more and more people are now switching to green tea.

The unfermented and fresh tealeaves contain flavonoid, this contains a huge amount of catchin polyphenols; the main catachin is Epigallocatechin Gallate (EGCG), which is an antioxidant. This antioxidant reduces the harmful effects and protects our cells from cell damage.
