General Motors Diet is well known as GM Diet. It was introduced in 1980’s. The diet is designed to cater the needs of people suffering from excessive weight gain. General Motors is a well known organization in the world. The organization provided this diet to its employees and their families. It is a 7 day low calorie diet.

  • You must drink at least 13 glasses of water daily.

GM Diet Plan

Day 1 Fruits: You are only allowed to eat fruits on the first day of the diet. You can depend on cantaloupes and watermelon. Don’t go for bananas at any cost.

Day 2 Veggies: You can eat cooked or raw vegetables on the second day of the diet. Use only a small quantity of oil while cooking the vegetables. You can have baked or boiled potato along with a smidgen of butter.

Day 3 Fruits & Veggies: You are allowed to eat a wide range of vegetables and fruits on the third day of the diet. However, you must not consume potatoes or bananas

Day 4 Bananas & Skim Milk: You should eat at least 8 bananas and drink 3 glasses of skim milk on the fourth day of the diet.

Day 5 Tomatoes and Beef: You must consume 6 bananas on the fifth day of the diet. You are also recommended to enjoy 10 oz. hamburger or lean beef without beans.

Day 6 Veggies and Beef:
You can eat a wide range of veggies along with beef on the sixth day of the diet.

Day 7 Brown Rice and Veggies: On the last day of the diet, you are supposed to eat vegetables along with brown rice and fruit juices.
