Five tips to cut down your kid's TV time!

It would not be wrong saying that most of the American kids are ‘couch potatoes’,which is one of the common reasons behind the sprouting out of various mental as well as physical problems in the kids. Various studies have also proved that continuous television watching may tell upon kid’s mental as well as physical health.

The biggest cause of worry is that parents also find it difficult to curb this bad habit of their kids. Well, you need not to worry because here are some of the important tips that may enable parents keeping their kids away from becoming couch potatoes.

First, chalk out a schedule for your kid to follow.

Secondly, don’t put television in your kid’s room.

Thirdly, make sure that your kid is not watching television more than 2 hours a day.

Fourthly, try not to keep television in dining room.

And most importantly, encourage your kid to indulge in outdoor activities and games.

By treading on these tips, you may prevent your kid from becoming a couch potato.
