Contraceptive pills may lessen your sex drive!

A new study may seem somewhat bitter to most of the women that reveals that use of contraceptive pills may lessen their sex drive up to a year after they stop taking it.

The study conducted for sever years by researchers led by Dr Claudia Panzer, an endocrinologist in Denver reveals:

Women on the pill had four times the level of sex hormone binding globulin (SHBG), which stops testosterone from circulating in the body, as those who had never taken the pill.

Dr. Panzer brought out the idea that doctor should make patients aware about the implications of using contraceptive pills and giving vent to his ideas he said:

It is important for physicians prescribing oral contraceptives to point out to patients the potential sexual side effects.

This revelation may mar the business of the companies, which deals in contraceptive pills.
