Children who suffer from leukemia and brain tumor in their childhood have higher chances of stroke risk, according to a new study. This study further divulges that children passing through radiotherapy for treating their leukemia or brain tumor are somewhat more prone to heart strokes in the later years of their lives.
After studying about 4,800 childhood leukemia survivors and about 1,900 brain tumors survivors, researchers have come out with this belief.
