According to the experts, it has been a turning point as breast cancer rates have ceased to rise from the year 2001 and began to decline from 2003, in US.
The reason for this decline not found yet but hypothesized by experts factors such as use of mammography, delay in childbearing by most of the women and use of hormones after menopause have led to its collapse.
Moreover, drop-out rates of death from breast cancer due to improved treatments also contributes to lower it.
However, some advocates doubted the fall in numbers of breast cancer rates to be irrational. Some experts also agree that even the level has gone down; there is a need to be caution.
