Health problems like obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure were already there to confound the people of America. However, in the recent few years another health problem called, Alzheimer’s disease has come out joining the gang of these abovementioned health problems, adding to the woes of the Americans.
More worrying is the fact, released by the Alzheimer’s Association according to which just in the last five years there has been an increase of 10 per cent the patients suffering from this debilitating disease, which means that about 5 million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s disease.
Adding to the concern raised by this revelation experts opined that it has become quite important to come out with a prolific medicine otherwise, this percentage of patients with Alzheimer’s disease would go on mounting higher and higher, touching the 7.7 million marks by the year 2030. In addition, experts believe that this figure could touch the height of 16 million by the year 2050, in lack of ineffective treatment for Alzheimer’s patients.
