Moving on the same track that countries like France have already moved on, England is also warming up to take strong measures to bring down the number of smokers in England and for that England is likely to ban smoking in public places from July. This declaration has come from Public Health Minister Caroline Flint.
Besides, England is also planning to rise the legalized minimum age of smoking from 16 to 18 from October this year. Experts believe that this step will make it easier for them to spot under-age smokers.
The move, which England is still planning to give a practical shape, should have been implemented quite earlier. We all know that the number of under-age smokers is growing constantly not only in England but also round the world and this is a significant step to curb the growing menace.
