After launching clamshell shiny mobile phone with Samsung, Verizon Wireless is coming with range of new personal digital assistants and smartphones, which offers business connectivity as well as personal connectivity.
In its first lineup, Verizon is bringing the SCH-i760 from Samsung, which would be available in stores from November 2, 2007. Samsung is also joining the portfolio of robust wireless business tools built to handle the speed of Verizon Wireless’ broadband network, including Verizon Wireless XV6800, the Palm Treo 755p and the SMT5800 smartphone.
Samsung SCH-i760: The new Samsung SCH-i760 smartphone comes with touch screen, full QWERTY keyboard, which slides out horizontally and a separate dial pad for making calls. The Samsung SCH i-760 uses Microsoft’s Windows Mobile 6 Professional operating system which allows you to read and edit documents in applications like Word and Excel and also reviews PDFs and PowerPoint presentation. The SCH-i760 comes with a separate dial pad on the front of the device, stereo Bluetooth for both speakers and headsets and a 1.3 megapixell camera/camcorder with flash.
Verizon Wireless XV6800: Designed on Blue, the Verizon Wireless XV6800 comes slide-out QWERTY keyboard, a 2.0 megapixel camera/camcorder with flash and Windows Media Player 10. The Verizon Wireless XV6800 is loaded Microsoft Windows 6 Professional and Bluetooth technology.
The Palm Treo 755p: The Plam Treo comes with colored touch screen with full QWERTY keyboard for easy messaging. In addition, the Plam is featured with 1.3 megapixel camera and Bluetooth stereo handsets. The in-built 60 MB dedicated memory allows the use of robust set of applications and the use of mini slot gives you 8GB additional memory.
The Verizon Wireless SMT5800: The Verizon Wireless SMT5800 is ideal solution for those customers who need to keep track of their meetings. The Verizon Wireless SMT 5800 is equipped with QWERTY keyboard and Microsoft Windows Mobile 6 Standard. Verizon Wireless SMT5800 also includes 2.0 megapixel camera with auto-focus, Windows Media Player 10 and Bluetooth capabilities for headsets. A color touch screen allows you to watch video and documents early and easily.
