I have the HTC 2.1 droid Eris release candidate leak ROM update and I want to know how to manually update the Eris. Is it like the Moto Droid? As in do I rename the file to \”update.zip\” and put it in the root folder of the Eris? I read that you hold down the volume down button and the power button at the same time with the Eris and then it will update. Anybody have any more details or is any of my details incorrect? Please help.
