I live in village and here power supply is interrupted, I get flickers in the power occasionally, and sometimes the dimming of the lights if I’ve got a few things running… I want to know what I need to look at when picking up a UPS. I hear they will really help with the life of my PC components. I heard you don’t really need one for a laptop due to the “brick” that a laptop has. Is this true? Also, are there any brands besides APC that work as well that maybe have a better price? I definitely want a brand with a good warranty too so that i wonât suffer uninterruptible power supply anymore.
