Micromax Q7

After the success of Q3 and Q5 in the ezpad series, Micromax released another QWERTY phone-Q7 that comes with Wi-Fi support. Looking at its QWERTY keypad and other specifications, it is actually a good value for money. It is a dual SIM phone and as you are seeing in the picture, there are two call buttons. Apart from that, there are many enthralling features, smooth user interface and nice audio quality. Today we will review Q7 and will see what it has to offer at this price. Read on to know more.

Performance

Screen of the phone is decent in terms of visibility and clarity. Under sunlight, you will face some difficulty but under other conditions, it is fine. Talking about the keypad, it is not too great but yes, it is fine. Track ball the phone works above average with its responsiveness. The camera is ordinary and the audio output in the headphone is great. However, if you will play music from the speaker, it will sound like a Chinese phone with extreme loudness. There are equalizer and bass enhancement options, but they hardly make any difference to the sound. We played some videos on the phone that disappointed us because we were expecting improved picture quality from its predecessors. Overall, at this price the phone is good and so its video quality.

One of the biggest disadvantages of the phone is its low battery power. Q7’s specifications shows that it can provide a talk time of 4.5 hours, but when we tested the battery the talk time was only for three hours. The preinstalled Opera mini browser does a competent job to bring internet to your mobile and allows you to browse anything.

It has a look of cheap plasticky phone that gives you hard feeling while using the keypad. The phone is thing and slim, but do not feel solid at all. Therefore, we can say that its design will not leave any impression on mobile users. On the top left, Q7 consists of a 3.5 audio output and there is a USB port on the lower right.
