I just got my new playstation 3 few days back and I am trying to make sure that my internet to work on it but it cannot be possible for me , my router is thed-link router 524 which is a wireless router. My problem is when i’m setting the net up on the ps3 and use the “EASY” installation, it just stays on the message “configuring network please wait” for a long time and then just brings me to the “CUSTOM” setting screen. Now when i go through the “CUSTOM” installation, i put in my own ip and dns and when i test the connection, it only retrieves the IP and the network connection fails, giving me the message “Network cannot resolve the server name” or something along the lines of that.i have have searched many forums but they could not set it right pls help.
