Guys can you please tell me what java runtime environment is all about? Is it a browser or it is just an add on to the browser which will help all type of applications written in java language to run on your browser? And when they say it runs all applets and applications written in Java language what type of application are they talking about? And is java runtime environment download available online? And is the downloaded version the is the official java download?
