The problem Iâm facing is that my Epson 4490 has stopped producing scans from positives. I reinstalled Windows XP and all my basic programmes and drivers. The scanner works fine in flatbed mode when the top light box part cover is in place. I have used this scanner moderately for nearly 2 years and never experienced problems before. Any idea or suggestions as how to solve this problem. Iâm looking forward for the right solution. Thanks.
