i bought a ddr3 ram 2 days ago for my desktop model no ds5g .which is a older version of dell computers. First I used to have 512 mb of ddr2 ram .but when I upgraded my computer to core i3 I fixed a 1 GB ddr3 ram to it. And then I think that I should increase my ram capacity so I attached a 2 GB ddr3 ram to it .but when I started my computer it didnât get open.then I thought that might the ram is not supporting the computer but then my hardware engineer told me that everything thing is alright and even he is also not able to understand what happened. So is there anyone who faced this type of problem. please reply both ram is of scandisk company model no 56tg.
