Hi all, I need two ethernet cables to set up a wireless router. I have DSL from Verizon. The cable supplied from Verizon is Cat5e. I just recently found out that there were these new standards. I am new to networking and all I have now is cat5.Can someone tell me what is a difference between cat5e and cat6 and what are there benefits individually and which one will you suggest kindly support with facts so that I can get it easily.
