I want to buy a latest model of a digital SLR camera for my brother on his birthday as he like photography as hobby. Presently he has a Nikon DSLR D90, and now I want to present him an upgraded version that is canon mp530 camera. My budget is limited till $800. It should be a 14 mega pixels camera, with at least 3X optical zoom, with 18+ mm lens. I want to know that is this a worth camera to be gifted as a present. Please help.
