Instructions

Step 1: Install the Audio Video system

The foremost step is to set the place for your AV system. You can use the one end of your room for this purpose. Make sure that it is far from windows and doors and most certainly not opposite to any form of light source.

Step 2: Setting up your Central speaker system

Keep the center speaker and woofer in the front. The best position for woofer is below the A/V system deck. Make sure the woofers touch the ground so that noise due to reverberation can be subsided down. The central speaker should be installed above the A/V system at an angle facing the center of the room. Use the hammers and screws to hang the speaker.

Step 3: Setting up your surround speakers

The best position is to have speakers installed in four corners of the room. However, the best place is to decide the sitting position of your room and decide the position of the speakers accordingly. Use the measuring tape for equivalent measurement from the sitting position. Current speaker systems have volume control for each of the speaker separately. Thus, the positions may not matter. However, fixing the volume of speakers actually dampens your experience. Mark the speaker position and put a screw in the place to hang the speakers.

Step 4: Wall excavation

Once you have marked the place. Use a pencil and draw perpendicular lines on the wall to reach the A/V system. With help of chisel, excavate the wall lining so that pipes can be put to carry the audio wire.

Step 5: Fixing the concealed pipes

Once the wall is excavated, you need to connect the audio wires to your speakers, if in case your speaker system does not have longer wires to cover the ends of the room. Put the wires inside the pipes and fix the pipes in the excavated wall with help of pipe clamps.

Step 6: Concealing the audio wire pipes

Use the cement to cover the wall and pipes and make it level with the wall cement coating. Put the wall putty on them when the cement is completely dried. Paint the wall to match the wall colors of your room. This is the step that needs expert’s intervention. Your home theater is ready to be connected and rocking your home.
