Blackberry Desktop Manager for Mac issue?

When I connect my Bold to Desktop Manager (I’m on a Mac but I don’t think it’s a Mac issue) I seem to be able to successfully backup my Blackberry, however have not been able to update for some time. When pressing ‘applications’ and clicking on ‘update’ it performs the backup before suggesting and the Blackberry Desktop Manager could not download the required files. I have tried this multiple times this has been happening constantly so I’m pretty sure it’s not a sever issue…Any thoughts from anyone on what I can do…?
