Even if not for the sake of deadline, the increasing ‘work from home culture’ is quite affable, with its ‘no hassle’ free charm. But it has its dark side too- the increasing health hazards especially diseases related to the chronic back pain. What might appeal as a common occurence initially may turn out to be a debilitating pain in the long run.

Thus to make you to enjoy the benefits of this numero-uno concept, we equip you with the right positions to avert this monster and rack in the moolahs.

The ‘Cause’ effect for wrong postures:-

1. Non-scientific designed work space
2. Careless sitting habits
3. Muscle imbalance
4. Inappropriate distance from the laptop causing eye erruptions
5. Non-aligned footrest
6. Unadjusted height of the chair
7. Excessive weight

The ‘Right’ postures:-

1. The sit-on- chair posture

This is the most basic posture to sit and work at home, but only if you have a workstation at your place. This not only keeps your back erects but is ideal for those long, continous, killing work hours.

2. The couch posture

Don’t have a work-station at home, and your couch serves the purpose of it, then this sitting posture is apt for you. Not only you can dwell comfortably onto the couch but also place your laptop in straight position.

3. The rest- on- Bench posture

Although a slight moderation of the second posture, this one is a variation of the ‘sitting on couch’ position. However it’s a more lie-down position wherein one can just place the laptop in a more sliding way, relaxing the legs at the same time.

4. The Slanting posture

As it appears, a comfortable lying-down position on a bed or a couch, wherein the laptop can be put on the lower chest or stomach. This keeps the back aligned with an appropriate distance from the screen.

5. The Sofa posture

A lean-back kind of posture, that works well if you don’t have to dig into any hard typing work. However the absence of any back support may restrict the posture for long working hours.

6. The lying-down posture

One more of the lying-down posture, wherein you can just adjust on a rug or a mat. However, aligning the hand is a proper must in this position.

7. The standing posture

If you have tested your hands at various sitting-down postures, then you can try this standing position. One can also re-adjust the Laptop stand or the table height as per the requirements.

8. The casual on-chair posture

Here’s the final one! A Work-station posture that is more relaxed in nature and even has an additional benefit- It keeps the back straight in nature..
