Seven best models of manufacturing prowess in ancient times

<![CDATA[Some structures of the ancient age are strikingly beautiful and so methodological in nature that you feel like applauding people who made them. Well, the making of ordinary multistory building takes a lot of toil nowadays, but they couldn’t possibly be having a magic wand with all of them or could they?

Easter Island

Ester Island, a Polynesian island is well known for 887 monumental statues that are called Moai. Rapa Nui people created theses structures. Another fact that separates it from other monuments is the fact that it is most isolated island in the world, having the nearest inhabited land 2,075 Km away. A Dutch explorer Jacon Roggeveen named it Easter Island as he found the place on Easter Sunday on 5th April, 1722. (Source)

Walls of Sacsayhuaman

Located in Peru, the Inca ruins could easily accommodate more than 10,000 men. Sacsayhuaman is a massive fort like construction made of huge rocks. The structure is made so elegantly that even a piece of paper could not be inserted between the walls. It really is a great example of the human engineering they had in ancient times. It gives an impression of a fortress but the latest investigations suggest it to be a temple to worship sun. The million-dollar question is, how did they manage to fix the rocks that weigh 120 to 200 tones? (Source)

Puma Punku

A magnificent example of flawless stonework, Puma Punku has the largest stones on the planet weighing more than 100 tones and 26 feet long. Puma Punku has dexterously shaped stones that are aligned in way to make it a treat for the eye. The shape and perfect organization of theses stones was hard to achieve without electronic equipments and tools but you can’t question the perfection of the architecture. (Source)

Nazca Lines

You need to fly up in the air or go to an extreme height to see the aesthetic beauty of the Nazca Lines. The drawing of animals, birds, humans and the geometric shapes are not only appealing but are spread 600 feet across. There are no signs of Nazca people inventing a flying machine let alone an airplane so how did they pull it? Especially, given that they had no draft animals to work with. (Source)

Stonehenge, Wiltshire, England

Considering the weight of these stones that is more than 50 tones, only one thought strike the mind, “what technology did they use to move theses stones from one place to another?” This ring of stones was made between 3000 BC and 2000 BC and there are no signs that the people back then had the technology to lift heavy stuff. (Source)

Teotihuacan

Did they really have knowledge of astronomy but they say that it is a modern concept? At Mexico’s Teotihuacan, the pyramid of the Sun is positioned at the center of pyramids. The admiring fact is that all theses pyramids are aligned with a planet in the solar system. (Source)

The Trilithon of Baalbek

Trilithon, a structure made of two large stones are kept vertically and the third one on top of these two. The large rocks that shape the part of the platform of the Roman Jupiter temple weigh more than 800 tons and are among the largest ancient monoliths. (Source)]]>
