Scuba diving is one of the form of underwater diving where in scuba set is been used by the diver to breathe underwater. In early stages, diver’s used to hold their breath or use air pumped from the surface while going for scuba diving. In both cases, whether be surface supplied gas or scuba diving, it allows the diver to perform freely than the techniques of holding the breath which are taught in free diving. A scuba diver usually performs its diving movements underwater with the help of swim fins that are been attached to his feet.

Breathing Underwater:
Dissolved Oxygen is present in the water that is been used by fish and other aquatic animals for extracting the required oxygen as the water passes from their gills. Human Bodies lack gills and hence cannot breathe underwater as they don’t have the capacity to breathe underwater.
