Sony announces new Home Cinema System with 4K upscaling

Japanese electronics giant Sony brings the magic of the cinema to your living room with its two new home cinema systems and a surround sound bar that enjoy the elegant ‘Sense of Quartz’ styling to complement your new Sony Bravia TV. Promising vibrant surround sound and truly cinematic experience at home, the new Home Cinema systems take your movie viewing experience to the next level with highly detailed 4K sound and picture quality. The 4K technology enriches users with four times the detail of Full HD to create a real movie theatre experience right inside your living room.

The new, stylish speakers are equipped with Sony’s Magnetic Fluid Speaker technology and deliver crisp clear, detail-packed sound. These speaker units have been made with an advanced ferrofluid material that was developed by NASA for its space programs. You can also stream music directly by simply tapping the NFC and Bluetooth-enabled Android smartphone or tablet. The built-in Wi-Fi connects the home cinema system with other devices around the home and gives you access to the myriad of online content and services.

Moreover, the Sony 4K upscaling Home Cinema Systems feature a new Football Mode that uses acoustic data captured at a Brazilian football stadium to put you right into the action. The new models are BDV-N9100W Home Cinema System with 4K upscaling, BDV-E6100 Home Cinema System and the HT-CT660 Surround Sound Bar.

While the Home Cinema systems are coming this April in Europe, the Surround Sound Bar will hit the shelves in May.
