What Miguel Rivera did with some redundant hard drives has found similar reverberations as American sculptor Brian Marshall comes up with his robotic creatures. Made from discarded industrial scrap metal and similar kitchen items, these robots aren’t functional. However, they serve their purpose well in illuminating others with a plea to recycle.
Brian utilizes oilcans, aluminium-measuring spoons, old coffee makers and pencil sharpeners to create his stunning masterpieces. If you want to see them in person, make sure you visit the Red Mohawk Gallery in Wilmington, Delaware for his Adopt-a-Bot show that opens January 29th, 2010, or go here.
