Formula Zero, the Dutch based company, while not compromising on thrill and velocity, has initiated an era of nerve-racking rapture in providing the much-needed platform to the new hydrogen fuel cell race cars. Just recently, Surrey became witness to the zero-emission game, where teams from Britain, Belgium, the Netherlands and Spain touted highly efficient, zero-carbon machines ruling the racecourse. All the participating cars of the event guzzled water vapors out of their tailpipe and thus made it a truly green motorsport!

Godert van Hardenbroek and Eelco Rietveld, the masterminds of the project, proudly witnessed their fuel-cell-powered innovation vrooming on the racecourse. The University teams from London, Leuven, Delft and Zaragoza participated in racing, where the Belgian team from the University of Leuven emerged as the winner.
