What could actually be more touching and inspirational then life of Oprah Gail Winfrey? Oprah is an actor, producer, talk show host, media proprietor, philanthropist and above all an excellent human being. The winner of multi-award winning talk show “The Oprah Winfrey Show,” she was born to a teenager single mother in Mississippi. Oprah was raped when she was 9. She got pregnant when she was merely 14, but she lost her son soon after birth. She started working in radio and then she landed with a job as a co-anchor at local new agency at the age of 19. The depth in her voice took her to a third-rated local Chicago talk show. Later, she started her own production company and never looked back. Now, a popular TV icon and one of the richest women on the planet, Oprah does all she could to uplift the level of the deprived part of the society. (Source Image)

Jan and his mother used to live in an apartment provided by government assistance. His mother used to sweep floors to make a living. However, Jan had a hang of computers. He worked as a security and infrastructure engineer for 9 years under Yahoo cofounder David Filo, until he started WhatsApp, the popular mobile messaging service. (Source Image)

Brain was turned down by Facebook for a job in 2009, and now Brian owns $3 billion in stock for Facebook, as part of its $19 billion acquisition of WhatsApp, which he cofounded with Jan Koum. Soichiro Honda was born in a small village and he used to help his father in fixing bicycles. Honda, a Japanese engineer who established “Honda” actually worked as a car mechanic for six years. Honda got rejected when he went for a job and was told misfit for it. That day, Honda made a promise to himself to make a company that could give tough competition to Toyota. (Source Image)

Enzo Anselmo Ferrari

 

Ferrari founded the Italian sports car manufacturer that bears his name. An Italian motor racing driver and entrepreneur, Ferrari was born on 18 February 1898 and always had a dream of becoming a racing driver. In 1916, he lost his father and brother to a widespread Italian flu. After the collapse of family firm, he started working as a test driver in a motor company and then got the same job in another company where he was promoted as a racing driver. However, he faced a few bumps in his career as a racing driver in the beginning but he never lost hope. In 1919, he got the fourth position in his first race.
