5 Tips to get pregnant

Planning for a baby is a very big decision. Parenthood is a wonderful feeling and your baby completes your family. For most of you, planning to get pregnant may be a very easy job but for others, it may be difficult. Often when couple decide to have a baby, they feel nervous and anxious of whether they are biologically fit. This keeps them tensed and they find themselves under pressure. Sometimes the age matters a lot for getting your pregnant. Here are five tips which you can consider to get pregnant.

1. Have frequent sex

Many couples do not give much importance to their sex life due to hectic life schedule and work load. If you are planning to get pregnant, you and your partner should indulge more in sex, at least every alternative day. This ensures that you do not miss your most fertile days. Some women, who have irregular periods, also need not worry to keep a track of their fertile days as frequent sex would be a safe bet. Have a healthy diet and exercise regularly to keep fatigue and stress away.

2. Consult doctor for guidance

If you are planning baby for the first time, it is better to consult a doctor who can give you guidance of how to check your most fertile days called as ovulation time. The most fertile days depend on your menstrual cycle. This is the time when you body releases egg and this is the best time to have sex so that you have enough sperm inside your uterus to welcome the egg. When you are on 28 days cycle, you will have to count 14 days from the first day of your period. This is the perfect timings for your ovulation. In other case if you have irregular period you can try on ovulation kit that will help you to determine your perfect ovulation timing. Ovulation kit helps measuring Luteinizing Hormone (LH). This is a type of hormone that signals your ovaries to release an egg. LH is present in your urine and in order to detect the ovulate timing you need to check your urine after the 9th or 10th day of your monthly cycle.

3. Have sex after counting ovulation time

Plan to check your ovulation regularly everyday in the mid menstrual time. If you have sex during your ovulating days, there is 90 percent surety to become pregnant. When you notice hormonal surge in your ovulation kit, do not stop sex next day. Continue it for next two to three days. The theory behind this is when you determine your ovulation timing and have sex for continuous three days, there are greater chances of sperms going inside and sticking to your ovaries which are ripe during this time.

4. Enjoy having sex

Never have sex with your partner just to get pregnant. Enjoy the togetherness and be tension free. Relax your nerves and just enjoy the act. This helps your body to release more eggs and makes you conceive easily. In most cases, tension adds negative to your mind and this effects your reproduction and release of eggs.

5. Have patience and give it some more time

Do not expect an overnight miracle in getting pregnant. In spite of checking everything, your pregnancy might get delayed. Do not lose hope. Perseverance and patience are the keywords during this time. Be lovable to your partner and adjust to the situation. Check other factors like your weight, eating habits etc which might be causing the problem.
