Scalado, one of the leading imaging software providers to the cameraphone industry, has now introduced their new Scalado Camera Solution that aims to improve the JPEG image handling performance. The solution manages the large files produced by high resolution images and enables zero-shutter lag, burst capturing and instant zoom/pan in the camera. The latest solution by Sacalado included both the SpeedTags IP and the Scalado Camera Engine.
Shutter lag is the biggest problem that cameraphones face, especially when capturing moving objects. With Scalado’s Zero Shutter Lag feature, what you see in the viewfinder will be the image captured. There will be no change at all. Users can then review the details of the image by zooming in the JEPEG image.

With this new solution, a cameraphone user will be able to instantly capture multi-megapixel images without any shutter lag. Till date, this feature was found only on advanced Digital Still Cameras and Single Lens Reflex cameras.
