In a bid to widen its customer base in China, Samsung has joined forced with Zi Corporation and introduced the predictive text entry software eZiText and Decuma Chinese V4.1 handwriting recognition technology into its L258 and G618 models. The G618 handset has already been in the news a lot lately as Samsung presented entire the Chinese Olympic Team including athletes, coaches and staff with the handsets.
The L258 has already had a fair run in the Chinese markets ever since it started retailing way back in spring. But the new softwares are sure to give the models another shot in the arm further widening their appeal to native customers.
