Samsung has heated up the already volatile smartphone scene with its claim of selling over 200,000 Samsung Galaxy S mobile phones in just less than 10 days after its release in South Korea. To match the much-touted capabilities of the iPhone 4, the Galaxy S has decently managed to rival the iPhone 4 with its good deal of improvements than its predecessor. Featuring a powerful 1Ghz processor encased in 64.2 mm x 122.4 mm x 9.9 mm case, the Galaxy S would appear like a skinnier, but broader version of the iPhone. The Galaxy S runs on Android 2.1 Éclair and incorporates Samsung’s TouchWiz 3.0 interface along with access to about 30,000 Android applications and games. Samsung Galaxy S will be available on all the top 6 telecom networks of United States including Verizon Wireless, AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile.
